Does time really fly by or is our recollection the reason it seems to?

Time is an illusion, as is much of what we perceive... We mostly gaze at the world through a pinhole, or we would surely go mad.

Perception. Everything in our lives is molded by how we perceive it, by choice or otherwise.

If a wristwatch gets thrown in my direction, would that mean "time flew by"?
