Can anyone make me believe in love again ?

@LyricalOne I wonder if perhaps that my marriage was the chance that God gave me and that I won't get another.

I became a father when I met my ex wife and her two beautiful daughters and son. They became mine and I'd give my life for them still. The son lives in Colorado but my girls take me out for my birthday and fathers day. They live down in New York city and we can't get together much but they told their mother (after we split up) that I will always be a part of their life. But I don't know that I could do that again. My girls are my girls and I don't know that I have love left to give to other children. Theses girls and my son ARE closer to me than their own father and I can't,... damn this is tough. I can't do this anymore. That life was never supposed to end.

@ElPhonse It's very difficult to take a chance on love again. I'm in that boat too. So many things happen in life that were never supposed to happen. I guess what I'm trying to do is let go of expectations but hold onto possibilities and keep an open mind.

@LyricalOne it is hard indeed. I'm ready but there are alot of players and pretenders out there. Guys run into them too. 🤤

@ElPhonse Absolutely. Both genders have to be careful.
