I used to live in England where (except for a couple of weeks) it was cold.
7 years ago, I moved to the Canary Islands, Spain and eversince then, at the coolest I've been here, I've been warm, never cold.
So my answer to your question is: I've tried both and I've decided that I'd rather live in a place that's hot, all the time!
