Oh, I think we all know it’s a reality here. Do I like it though? Nah. I understand it though. Some people need to go that deceptive route to get the attention they crave. I don’t think some people care if the person they’re talking to is fake as long as they make them feel good though. We all just want to be wanted in some way and some really don’t care who’s actually behind the screen as long as they can get their heart racing.

Yes - some are more obvious than others.

Do I like it? No! What’s the point? I don’t post any pictures of myself and would only share them with someone I have grown to trust.

I don't mind pictures of others if the publishers are honest about it not being them, but I hate it when people claim to be someone else and I prefer pictures of the publisher him/herself.

I've noticed it as well. Wish people would use there real pics or at least admit they aren't of them.

I've learned to not disbelieve the things people say about themselves. If they feel a need to lie about who they are on here it's because they are looking for something. I'm not giving them anything they can hurt me with and I am no threat to them. There is nothing they could lie to me about that would make me give them more. But if they do lie to me then odds are they will not be happy with what they get, because they gain nothing of real value.

I don't like it. But unfortunately, we are on the internet, and people feel like they can be whom ever they want to be online. It's important that we are aware that they are fake people out there, and not give too much of ourselves to someone.

That's why I don't trust a lot of people.

its something I am used to. my personal take is this. If two people help each other find what they are looking for, and it harms nobody then its ok. But if it turns out that someone used or uses an false identity to bully or cause harm to someone else, then it becomes an issue for admin to look into
