What should I do if my mom doesn't trust the guy I like?

She doesn't trust him nor I don't think she will trust him. He wants to win her trust and her acceptance. I just sometimes think I should forget about him and move on if my mom won't trust him.

@Shaman I am cautious. But I believe that when my parents give me advise, they want me to follow it as an obligation. Not a suggestion.

@hopeespe Of course they do. Most parents think they own their child. I don't suggest you broke up just because your mother says so. Just be weary. :)
