Were you bullied as a kid?

Teased, mocked, and challenged mercilessly at times, but never bullied. In Polk county Arkansas in the early to mid seventies, my family's 'homestead' and lifestyle made us the local monkey exhibit for a while, and I was an 'oddball' but I was always physically stronger than my classmates because of the life that I lived. It wasn't 'hell' but it was memorable. I was a physically attractive kid too, so that made my life a little easier.

I know this may sound strange but this girl who had cancer in my class. She was bald and had to put drops in her eyes. We were very young, 7 maybe. She didn't like me at all. She picked me out of everyone and never let me use anything of hers, and she was mean about it. She let everyone else use her stuff tho. I think I stole her fuzzy Calico Critters tho. They were so neat! lol I had to give them back. I mean who steals from a cancer patient? Right? I realized much later in life actually only 3 years ago that I have a permanent Smirk on my face. I don't mean to make it, it's just there. I wonder now did that have everything to do with all of my confrontations? Maybe.

I don't see a difference between being bullied and being teased. Both do damage. For instance every chance they got they (kids at school) would tell me I'm too tall (often called me 'Sara Plain & Tall', when Sara Ann Wood went missing they would call me her name. (As so u could hear her name coming from all directions) Teachers didn't do anything. When I read out loud it was slower so I got made fun of. They would hold me down and count the pimples on my face. All that began when I had to go into a public school. Before that a few of us were in Catholic school. I was NEVER made fun of there 🤔

Nope , I was into martial arts , my first year in the 9th grade I put down the biggest bully in school , no one messed with me after that .

Yep. Sure was, I have had desks slammed into my back, books thrown at me, spit on, exc. Teenagers are assholes.

Yes I was bullied, as time went on I started to realize they do it because someone is bullying them or they are being neglected by a parent or sibling.
