Back in the day everyone that lived on my road would get together for 4th of July

Had it. I found it welcoming, feeling a healthy neighbourhood is a healthy community but I've gone from living in a house to an apartment again --- when I didn't get it at the apartment building (third time) around, ironically, I found it as a form of judgment. I'm sure the people mean no wrong.

Well these neighborhood moved in 2 houses down and I would play with them in wlemtary almost every afternoon but we started hanging out less when we got into 5 and 6th grade but now we barley hang out in 8th

@HelloHelloNde It's normal. I don't talk to my childhood friends either. some still live in the same neighborhood

@iamnikki yea we both moved our ways even though I was the nice kid and they were somewhat rebellious but we both had fun but we have other stuff to worry about friends, school, family ect: plus middle school is a pretty crazy stage for most people

My grandparents get along great with their neighbors. They have the little boys that they sometimes watch for them, and they invite my grandparents over when they have family around. I know my grandparents love it. It's nice to see.

It is. They are retired so it gives them purpose, and I love seeing them happy.

Yes! They still live next door, but we haven't gotten together since my parents died. We did holidays, game nights, random partys...I miss those days.

When I was a kid in Brooklyn, we had more of a sense of community than here and now.
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@DanielChristensen Certainly. I do not like the times

I have one set that we do things together. We each have the others keys in case of emergencies as well

I knew all the neighbor neighborhood kids and went over their houses when I was younger. Now it's a casual hello and goodbye.
Nope. I hate all of my neighbors. Past, present and most likely future neighbors will feel my wrath and eternal hatred.

@MsAnnThropy Harsh thing to say about future neighbors...
@iamnikki I know.
