@SW-User Thank u. It is heartbreaking. Im greiving for him and his pain. His mum and i were married for 25 years but split in jan 2015 but remained great friends. She died in my car outside of the pharmacy after taking her doctors. She was 46. Im strong for him though. Want to crumble and do in private. I ll always be there always. ☺

@Thingschange4444 Your son is clearly in very good hands with you as his father. Very difficult, sad but your support is A1! Wishing you all the very best, and that you get the support you need too

@SW-User Thats really very kind. Thank u ☺ Yes i do my best. Ive started eye desensitisation therapy. Early days yet but worth a go. Who knows. I.ll dig deep though.

@Thingschange4444 What kind of therapy is that? You sound like you're doing good, despite how tough it must be
Thingschange4444 · 56-60, M
@SW-User Its a trauma based therapy. Not trying to sound all self sympathetic here but my lifes been hectic lost mum and dad and bro young. Between 9 and 26 and then Barbara. Dealt with it with drugs as a youngster but in reality it just blocks and doesnt do anything. Got put on to this guy through a family member. Got in touch and giving it a go. Only had one session. Im older now with a much more of a open mind. My job is to make sure im strong enough to stop my son going down the dumb roads i went down so trying to just be there. Helping him through it by having a laugh and doing stuff with him. Hes a great guy.
