So Americans need to be grateful that the only way to increase their income is to work longer-than-usual hours and to rely on the generosity of customers because their basic wage isn't enough?
Gee, thanks for the crumbs from the table

@newjaninev2 Maybe Americans need to learn how to live within their means and not expect pay beyond the ability of their competency . ... But that has nothing to do with the discussion at hand. You do understand "cutting taxes" isn't the Government giving you money back--- it's your money to begin with that the Government TAKES from you. Don't make the issue unnecessarily more complicated than it is.... It's OUR payroll money that the Government TAKES from you, me, US. Tell me what should a waitress make? as much as a teacher? as much as a welder? as much as pilot? how much?

@MyGirlPhotoswell Wait staff should make at least minimum wage otherwise what’s the point of turning up to work?
oldguy73 · 70-79, M
@newjaninev2 It's for resturant workers, no tax an tips, read what you said, not very smart, they WILL SAVE MONEY, BY NOT BEING TAXED, DUHHHHHHHHHHH
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@oldguy73 So if the restaurant owner gives them their wages as a tip, there's no tax on any of their income?
How will IRS differentiate between income as wages and income as tips?

@newjaninev2 Note the insults start coming as soon as you point out the obvious fallacies in this so-called "policy" of Trump's.

@newjaninev2 income has to be reported, tips , will not have to be, a person gives you 5 bucks, just keep it, like not hard
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@oldguy73 read what I asked... How will IRS differentiate the two sources?
