Not the same at all. The K word is more like the B word -- just another misogynist term aimed solely at women.

The N word began as a racial slur and is now extremely offensive to everyone and can be aimed at anyone, male or female, black or white.
@SW-User It’s still aimed at black people and is a racial slur depending on who’s using it.

@bijouxbroussard Yes, it used to be aimed exclusively at black people, but around here anyone can get called that. I've been called the N word and White N, as well.
@SW-User It’s a word I wish would go away permanently, because as long as the KKK still uses it, it lives primarily as a racial slur. Black people who play around with it trivialize something serious.

@bijouxbroussard I couldn't agree more. Plus, as I've said, I have my own personal reasons for detesting that word.

I really wish the word would disappear too. Anytime I hear it, it's like a stab to the heart. Things are unfair now...and To hear that word and remember that if we lived in another time (not that long ago tbh) many dear friends that mean the world to me would be subjected to some of the cruelest actions of horrific abuse, violence, and slavery just because of the color of their skin is just unimaginably horrible. It's beyond nightmareish. Things like that can never be allowed to happen ever again...so we all have to make the world a better place.
