I Hate Social Justice Warriors

Wish I could but triggering that toxicity is oh so amusing

I know. People who care are the WORST!
NativeOregonian · 51-55
@JaggedLittlePill But there is also a huge difference of caring for others and wanting them to do well, and extreme militants that froth at the mouth simply because you're white male.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@NativeOregonian Yes. But generally speaking, people who simply point out the wrongs of the world are considered SJW and that is just as extreme as the people who claim every white male in the world is bad.

Being a warrior for justice is not a bad thing. Calling people social justice warriors is indicative that caring is somehow bad or stupid. That is the game being played.

Just the same game as is played with "political correctness" which isn't bad either. It is literally just about being decent to everyone and people can't handle it.

@JaggedLittlePill I agree, there is a lot of injustice in this world that needs to be addressed, however SJWs in hollywod ruined a beloved movie franchise, as well as other movies, by over preaching, things are militantly getting thrown into our faces, they are blanket blaming people just because, they are accusing unjustly too many innocent people. Hell, even Obama told them to cut their shit out, as well as Bill Maher, that is saying quite a lot.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@NativeOregonian wait... a movie franchise was ruined?(which one) And that is somehow a horrible thing as opposed to social injustice such as racism, for example?
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@NativeOregonian Bill Maher is a talking bobblehead. He makes great points sometimes but he isn't the person you want to use to try and make good points generally.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@NativeOregonian Maybe, and hear me out on this, Maybe the reality is that people should actually start looking at their behavior and understanding how some things they say and do are unconsciously based on their inherent biases? Instead of taking offense they might try some self introspection.
NativeOregonian · 51-55
@JaggedLittlePill Star Wars, I never seen the last one, and there are others that can explain it a lot better than me. For example Black Lives Matter, there were a shitload of guilty white liberals that insisted on marching with them, but their leaders knew it was more about them being recognised for participating than the actual cause itself and kicked them out of the marches.
NativeOregonian · 51-55
@JaggedLittlePill Then you have Rachel Dolezal in Spokane, Washington, who actually went blackface and insisted she was black, became the local NAACP prez, and got away with it for years, until her own parents outed her when they found out what she was doing.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@NativeOregonian I am pretty positive Star wars is doing just fine. Lol

Also...you act as if you know all these "shitty white liberals" and know the black lives matter movement personally and so you believes something you read online about that and believed it and now it's the truth.

By the way. I did extensive research on Black Lives Matter for a college paper recently. None of this was ever brought forth as an issue by any reputable source of information on the matter.

While you are correct, there are white people who will participate just to say "I am not racist" those are not a majority and theybare only highlighted for the drama that ensues after.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@NativeOregonian right. Again, you are highlighting only those who are highlighted to perpetuate the very rhetoric you are spewing now.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@NativeOregonian To clarify:

The rhetoric you speak of is extreme and not the norm. The extreme is highlighted specifically to give you the idea that these things are a bigger deal than they actually are.

Highlighting the bad to give the impression of it being the norm is an age old tactic of political discourse.
NativeOregonian · 51-55
@JaggedLittlePill Most people are decent and do look at how others are treated and do help them in whichever way they can within their own communities. The idiots we do hear about are actually a very, very small minority, BUT, they are also the ones we constantly hear about, making the problem appear much larger than it really is, yet we are ALL blamed for it.
NativeOregonian · 51-55
@JaggedLittlePill That is not a justification, that is an excuse, most people are aware of the situations and try to help in whichever way they can, within their own communities. However, they resent being said they are the problem every time they turn around when they really are not. We are already aware.
