👳: "I am a Muslim and my religion says homosexuals must be put to death so you don't be an Islamophobe!"
👩‍🎤: "You're a Muslim? Well, that's okay then! That's just a part of your culture. My apologies, carry on."

Of the Muslim friends I have none of them care if someone is gay or not. I’ve never seen a Muslim get a free pass as homophobia.
But I can just speak on my personal experience.

@KaysHealingPath I would imagine that Muslims in America, being a minority that is often "suspect" aren't going to rail against homosexuality in public the way some Christian proselytizers do. Examples of Muslim homophobia often come from Muslim countries, where punishments for homosexuality are brutal.

But then again most Muslim families I’ve met are here because they believe in religious freedom and are fleeing from their own countries.
