@LordShadowfire Liberals ARE moderate conservatives. That is what liberalism is and always was.

That's why hardline conservatives and far righties attack it as being something left. If they can paint liberals as lefties they win at keeping the goal posts strictly in the right wing territory.

@LordShadowfire The terms get fuzzy and used in many ways. I prefer "progressives" for those more left leaning democrats. My views have stayed largely the same so I would have been a liberal in the 90s.

They most certainly are capitalists, there's not even an arguemeny there. Maybe one or two in office are sympatgetic to socialist ideas but there's no actual socialists in power.

Most don't support open borders. The party certainly doesn't. However the Libertarian party historically does.

Lots of people support the RIGHT to an abortion. Most polled in fact do.
