House Passes Bill to Expand Security Protection of SCOTUS Justices’ Families — 27 Democrats Voted ‘No’ Against Protecing SCOTUS Justices

The House of Representatives finally passed a bill on Tuesday that would provide expanded security protections to the immediate family members of the Supreme Court justices in the wake of the alleged assassination attempt against Justice Brett Kavanaugh last week.

The bill, Supreme Court Police Parity Act, passed the House by a 396 – 27 vote margin. 205 Republicans voted in favor of the bill while 3 did not vote. Meanwhile, 191 Democrats voted in favor, 2 did not vote, while 27 voted “no” to the legislation to provide protection to SCOTUS justices and their family members.

There was already a law on the books that should have done the job.
But, Merrick Garland is a democrat, and we all know how democrats feel about enforcing law.

The really striking thing is that 27 democrats voted against security for the justices!
That's gonna look good on their resume, eh?

I saw that on the news this morning. Note that the Squad, most of the real nuts from California, Cori Bush and AOC all want to ensure that the spouses and CHILDREN of Supreme Court justices are in constant danger.

If I were a Republican in the House, I would propose that the entire list of these blood sucking child endangering pus pockets be impeached for obliquely attempting to influence the vote of the Supreme Court by making sure their families are in danger from violent domestic terrorists.

"A total of 27 Democrats voted “no” on the bill: Reps. Joyce Beatty (Ohio), Jamaal Bowman (N.Y.), Cori Bush (Mo.), Veronica Escobar (Texas), Adriano Espaillat (N.Y.), Jesús García (Ill.), Sylvia Garcia (Texas), Josh Gottheimer (N.J.), Raúl Grijalva (Ariz.), Steven Horsford (Nevada), Pramila Jayapal (Wash.), Brenda Lawrence (Mich.), Barbara Lee (Calif.), Tom Malinowski (N.J.), Marie Newman (Ill.), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.), Bill Pascrell (N.J.), Donald Payne (N.J.), Ed Perlmutter (Colo.), Ayanna Pressley (Mass.), Mikie Sherrill (N.J.), Albio Sires (N.J.), Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), Norma Torres (Calif.), Nydia Velázquez (N.Y.), Maxine Waters (Calif.) and Bonnie Watson Coleman (N.J.)."
