I missed my 90's version of being Liberal. I feel there's no going back and Liberalism will win.

I think people like Bill Maher or more in the realm of the liberalism I believed in, now he's a thing of the past.

I always referred to that more as "progressive", which includes social tolerance and inclusiveness. I don’t know when those things became bad in some circles.

@bijouxbroussard That's a sad mystery to me as well. What was good is now condemned by so many as bad. 😢

@FreddieUK One thing that bugs me in particular is the right wing in the US co-opting the term "woke" which was originally an African American slang term for being enlightened about the experiences of black Americans in our country. "Stay Woke" was a rallying cry in our community to not forget and to move forwards. And now all kinds of people toss that term around, with no clue about that history.
