I Support Lgbt Youth

My daughter is gay. Maybe transgender.
I love her. I'm proud.
I'm a mother.
If you need to talk to a mother about your experience, I'm here.
Mothers. We don't bite, we just feel great fear for you as you embark on your lives. People are sick. You aren't.

erik, you're parents wouldn't be mad. They would just be afraid. Afraid of the unknown, afraid for your safety. Just afraid. They could possibly express their fear in 'mad', but they would get over that 'mad' in time. Parents generally love their children. Have faith in their love.

I'm not gay but my parents hate gay people and I know that they would beat me hard if I told them that I am gay.

@erik2000: I feel bad for you because people that hate gays are SO close minded and I wouldn't even talk to my parents if they hated gays. I'm not gay either, but the thought of someone hating someone because of who they are is just ignorance

@ABQ1952NM: My parents don't like gay people or black people or gypsies. I'm lucky that I'm not gay.

@erik2000: Your parents have been taught to be afraid, and to hate. You are not your parents. Luckily, one fine day, you will leave home, start your own life. Love. Don't hate. xx

@ifoundmethere: Yes, I don't agree with them. But I don't hate them, evem if they are too strict.
