I Am Transgender

Hello!
I want to address the T beside my username since so many people seem to think it's their business anyway!

First of all, yes, I am actually Transgender! I'm FtM, which means I was born female and am transitioning to male!
I am currently medically transitioning and have been on Testosterone for a few years now. I socially transitioned while I was still in high school.

I've been out for a number of years and I'm not interested in hearing your rude comments about it. Say what you will, but you won't be bothering me :)

With that being said, I'm more than happy to answer RESPECTFUL questions. Use your brains, you know what is and isn't appropriate to ask a stranger.
However, being transgender isn't all there is to me- in fact, most people in my life (aside from family + close friends) don't even know I'm trans. I've got lots of dorky things to say.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I am living as a pre-op transgender MtF since I was quite young. I still occasionally get random male thoughts and dreams which at times wake me up in a sweat. Do you ever get random female thoughts, desires or dreams in your FtM life?

@KayleeW I messaged you.

@KayleeW Sorry! I'm just now seeing this question!

I've never really spoken to anyone about this, mostly because I thought I was the only one experiencing it! Spending a majority of my life living as a female has left me with 'female thoughts' ingrained in me that I can't quite shake. It's interesting to be able to evaluate myself in this way, to see just how much 'gender roles' and such really affect our everyday life.

@KOOLKAT446 I suspect that a lot of TS people experience it. I would question the causality of the dreams. Is it really gender roles or is it something deeper?
KOOLKAT446 · 22-25, T
@Mathis1 Being raised a certain way leaves a lasting impression on you no matter what. I don't know that gender roles were necessarily the correct words to use, but I think it gets the point across!

@KOOLKAT446 There is absolutely no doubt that upbringing is a dramatic impact on human being's life. I know this by experience and I could say a whole lot more. Thank you for your comment.

@Mathis1 I just discovered your message to me from last April. I don't really understand your comment, though. As for causality, I wish I knew. I think I sometimes see guys having fun together in sports or whatever and a fantasy carries over to my night-time thoughts. I not sure what you mean by "something deeper".

@KayleeW Let's talk via PM. I have to go back to work now but would love to chat later if you have time.... This evening perhaps?
KayleeW · 31-35, T
@Mathis1 Maybe ...we'll see. I've got an appointment till 9 so it may have to be another time.
Mathis1 · M
@KayleeW I have time after 9 p.m. I am on central.

But no pressure...
