What do you think of requiring immigrants to assimilate into your culture before coming in? Like the example below

Suppose we have built a civilization that loves trans people and doesn't tolerate transphobia, and then someone from a culture that kills them wants to come... should we make sure they reject their beliefs first?

That's what the laws are for, so it isn't so authoritarian that you must believe in x or y, but beliefs that harm others are punished when they manifest themselves.
