What do you think of requiring immigrants to assimilate into your culture before coming in? Like the example below

Suppose we have built a civilization that loves trans people and doesn't tolerate transphobia, and then someone from a culture that kills them wants to come... should we make sure they reject their beliefs first?

I think that's just something you're going to risk when you have immigrants. As long as they follow the laws, I don't care what they think.
