I agree.
True story though. My cousin never came out to us. We also never asked. She just introduced us to her serious girlfriends. That was that.
Straight people don't come out as straight, they show up with their SO's mom, dad this is "insert SO name here"
She did it the same way. It wasn't a big shock to us either. It just was, it was not a big deal or anything that would make us think differently of her.

I hope that if either Of my kids were LGBT I would support and love them just the same. I would hope that I knew them well enough that a big coming out speech isn't necessary and that they would feel comfortable bringing their SO home to meet us without having to explain it to us.

@Tristemuneca: sometimes the bond between mother and daughter is so great that you can just sense it my older sister actually sensed that im lesbian before i even knew
