@kodiac Wouldn't that be the other way around? Sex is biology, gender is culture.
Unless by "sex" you mean the other kind. In which case, that is something one does.

@BohemianBoo Exactly. If a man born with only one arm stands before me and insists he has two arms no amount of wishful thinking is going to change the fact that he only has one arm.

@kodiac So then sex is what you are, gender is what you do.
Although even that is up for debate, since you can change your genetics to a degree.
