I understand your opinion and feel you're entitled to it. I have a "label" simply because it calls for them in most places but aside from that i don't really believe in them. I think people just like what they like or in some cases, "whom." if the whom happens to have the same plumbing they do, then so be it. I don't need them to define it as any particular thing and if it isn't called that it isn't going to bother me. People just like what and whom they like. But i can see where you're coming from.

I like men, I like women, I like trans persons, i also like intersex persons etc. it has never mattered to me what has been between the person's legs so much as what is between their ears. But i DO understand it being deeply a personal matter of concern for others.

As long as everyone is respectful of the choices of others there is no issue. no one Has to call it anything do they?

Self identity can be pretty confusing in these ill defined times. People like Havelock Ellis, and Krafft-Ebbing a long with the more well known Freud got the ball running on such explorations, there's also Michel Foucault's 4 volumes History of Sexuality. Foucault brought forth such folks at the author of Gender Trouble, a trailblazing text for all that Gender theory stuff that is such a part of the LGBTQ literary Canon. Surprisingly I find Carl Trueman the Protestant writer has given these matters a think through in his latest string of books beginning with The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self. Now in this climate we live in anything smelling of dissent will be labelled as hate speech and whatnot, but to think clearly about these things you have to at least take a neutral stance to make any headway in learning about it. Unlike Van Til's use of apologetics which then has to begin from a defined point of view which their opponents won't accept. But that's another matter.
