Back home now and feeling a bit tired and under the weather. Partly that's just endĺll^ s upvof pph^oliday, but also the lurgy my wife is passing on. Lots of coughing and sneezing and generally feeling crap. So what were the highlights of the holiday? Well not too many. It was supposed to be a very quiet trip, and much of the weather encouraged sitting by the fire reading a book. I did steaks for dinner on Wednesday, ribeyes which I must prefer, lots of flavour. I've never understood thd popularity of fillet steak which I find lacking in flavout. So ribeye is my preference, rump next - who doesn't like sinking their teeth into a nice arse!
Next morning while my wife was asleep I went round to the local Co-op to pick up some shopping wearing a blue floral button through dress, pink bra (top buttons undone to show bra, yes I'm a bit of a slut) and knickers, tights and trainers (sneakers if you're American). I was a little nervous going in, but nobody seemed bothered. One assistant gave me a second look and said "nice dress". I'm not sure if she really meant to compliment me, or if it was just a nervous reaction, but I'll take the former! Then it was back to thd cottage, still driving through some seriously flooded roads. I really must do this more often, though my wife is still very nervous about me being out dressed in public. I just have to pick my moments.
