The wife made me do it.

Today, to make my wife happy, I thinned out my girl closet. I took almost half of the clothing out and will be donating them to a woman's shelter. It was hard to pull stuff out but I think, in the long run it will help my wife realize that this is not going to go away. The hard part starts tomorrow as I now have to force myself not to buy new things and fill the closet all over again. We will see how it goes.

It takes a very strong and understandng woman to accept their man crossdressing. Some years ago I watched a documentary featuring Portland's premiere drag queen, Darcelle, filmed in the 90's, her establishment was very popular for bridal showers. In the documentary one bride to be was crying that her groom to be was a crossdresser and as much as she loved him she was having cold feet and was questioning her own sexuality. Darcelle looked straight at her and said that if she tells her man that it's ok and that she supports him, she will have the most loyal, loving, giving man that other women will envy, that he would do anything and everything to keep her happy. I actually knew the woman as I worked with her at a long term temp job assignment, she was always all smiles and bragging how her husband was the best in the world.
