@PlumBerries: Agreed. Dressfanatic - Your massive priority should be how to approach this with your parents, not how you present yourself to people at school. You have a long journey on this Transgender thing so go slowly and carefully so you don't burn bridges and give yourself a massive problem. You have enough on your plate at this age without adding massively to it. Do you want to just make a scene at school OR keep things together ??

most schools have some sort of counselor on staff or at least one available. They can be a good resource for stuff like this.

@Dressfanatic716: they can still be good to talk to ahead of time, if your school is like most if you show up one day looking drastically different they will probably send you to talk to them anyway for "causing a disturbance"... so I would give them a heads up and see what you need to do to make it a smoother transition there
