There's new scientific data that sexuality is fluid and can change over time due to various factors

First off I'm not in the least bit anti LGBT. But doesn't that negate the claim that people are 'born that way' that made the LGBT cause so popular? I don't think it was right to make up facts to support a political cause. There's absolutely nothing wrong with being gay, but I think its wrong to only support science when it favors you.
sexuality is fluid and can change
"Can" is not a 100% certainty. Perhaps some(what percentage?) people's sexuality is fluid. Some is not.

What source did you get this from?

@Pherick: There are a lot which you can find by doing a google search. https://www.newscientist.com/article/mg22730310-100-sexuality-is-fluid-its-time-to-get-past-born-this-way/

https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/standard-deviations/201605/sexuality-is-much-more-fluid-you-think

And I am also speaking from personal experience

@rickfreeman15: Thank you for posting sources, I appreciate it. I can't read much of the newscientist article as its behind a paywall. But this from the beginning,
It means that people are born with a sexual orientation and also with a degree of sexual flexibility, and they appear to work together. So there are gay people who are very fixedly gay and there are gay people who are more fluid, meaning they can experience attractions that run outside of their orientation.
I don't think this is very new is it? I mean some people find they become bi later in life, some know they are gay right away, some people hide it and come out later. I guess I am just not sure how this is new? Maybe there is more later in the article I can't read.

This from the psychologytoday article,
In addition, I think for some folks, sexual fluidity is merely a matter of uncovering. In other words, they may not have realized they were interested in some aspect of sexuality until they tried it and realized that they enjoyed it.
This seems pretty normal to me? I mean, how would you know you like something until you try it?

I guess my point is that I don't know if this is anything new. I think most LGBT folks would say they knew from birth they were different, but how and what they liked I am sure changed as they got older and tried things. Thats seems like anyone, homosexual or heterosexual?

I don't think it negates the claims of "born that way" at all.
@Pherick: See, now that makes sense, and it fits with the experience described by many people in the LGBT community whom I've known for decades
