There's new scientific data that sexuality is fluid and can change over time due to various factors

First off I'm not in the least bit anti LGBT. But doesn't that negate the claim that people are 'born that way' that made the LGBT cause so popular? I don't think it was right to make up facts to support a political cause. There's absolutely nothing wrong with being gay, but I think its wrong to only support science when it favors you.

For men or women? and in which direction? Straight to gay or gay to bi? Because all the straight guys I know are very very straight. For women it's a more fluid thing. Guys don't go to parties and brag that they kissed some other guy.

Because sexuality is such a political minefield, I'm pretty leery of any scientific study that goes against personal experience, there's a lot of stuff put out there with an agenda in mind.
@plungesponge: There's the whole "downlow" situation, though. Just because men don't "brag" doesn't mean they're not getting together quietly---that's just a question of what's socially acceptable. Modern society has apparently decided that lesbian and bisexual women are less of a threat.

Sorry, I don't buy it. Straight guys tend to get a gut-level reaction to the thought of kissing a man (or even just seeing another man kiss a man). It's just not the same with women and I'm skeptical that there is an equivalent pool of guys out there that are just keeping it secret because of societal expectations.

I'm not saying whether one is right or wrong, but I believe sexuality for guys is far more binary and fixed than with women, that's why I'm asking how this study was set up.
@plungesponge: I respectfully suggest you might be generalizing based upon your own reaction. There are plenty of women who would remain celibate before they'd touch another woman sexually, and some guys who have allowed other guys to "service" them as a matter of convenience, no kissing involved. And they still consider themselves straight.
