Hi everyone, I just made this account. I feel so awkward and out of place so please don’t be mean or make fun of me lol I’m Merella, from Utrecht (Netherlands!!), 16 years old and trans. I have super loving and supportive parents but my love life and social life are basically zero. Like, nobody wants to be my friend I feel like let alone date me. So it’s really lonely out here. I do have a bit of social anxiety and I’m a reserved person, I have no idea if people don’t like associating with me because I’m trans or because of that.
Either way, I hope I can meet some friends here or something. I’m sorry if I’m doing this wrong. I just got here. 🥲😭

Glad to hear you have loving and supportive parents. There is no right or wrong way to make friends here, posting your interests and commenting on other posts is always a good way to go about it.
What you might find challenging is that being 16 your profile will be restricted to really only communicate with people your age in private conversations. People over 18 will not be able to view your profile. I am not suggesting you change anything, and it is good for safety reasons, just letting you know of a challenge. But talking on posts and sharing in public is still a good start.
Concerning you being trans, maybe some people do not want to associate with you because of that, but you are better off without those people. You can still find plenty of other people to talk and share with.
