Respect for Asexuals , the LGBTQ community and humans in general

On this platform, I just had a really good chat with someone who is an asexual female. Realized a couple of things. Sometimes, genders and people are much easier to understand. I was trying to be overly polite (I guess) but I realized during our conversation that they are not repelled by the idea of people finding them attractive. Compliments don't hurt as long as the boundaries are drawn loud and clear.

The only real difference, is that they simply do not get aroused, so any sexual conversation is pretty banal and may get super annoying at some point, but they are extremely aware of how others (non asexuals) may feel.

This is extremely basic, and almost a stupid post, but I appreciate how sometimes basic facts can be difficult to wrap your head around, and all you need is one good conversation

Thank you, Mike, for the heads-up. I talk with Transpeople and never thought of that. To us, it's a little off, to them nothing coulld be more normal.
