I have never used a dating app, so I have some naive questions.

When you sign up, do you have to give your real contact info?

Do they verify it?

Does Grindr really have a list of names they can publish at the drop of a hat, or do they just have IP addresses?

@DrWatson like this site in order to take full advantage of all the privileges you must pay. On a dating site this more important. They have a hard time contacting anyone without VIP status. They have their card card or debit card information for certain.
