Not A Drag Queen subreddit is crazy

Tracks religious and conservative people who are accused of child exploitation and oh man, it's nuts. The amount of pastors, teachers, city council members, politicians, cops, lawyers, Trump supporters actually accused of child exploitation is literally insane.

@Rolexeo Again, nobody is saying that "all drag queens" should be trusted, they are just people too. But there are some correlations between over projection which is what conservatives do and hiding who they really are. The reason I think conservative religious people engage in child abuse more is because they are more taught to hide so that comes out in weird ways against society like abuse and neglect. The whole pull yourself up by your boot straps is trauma ridden.

So no one is saying that everyone can be trusted but drag queens ARE a bit more open and authentic which means they are probably less likely, statistically speaking.

@OogieBoogie Sounds more like "enlightened" feel good bullshit. Show the stats.

@Rolexeo From the site specifically about stats on priests:

https://www.whoismakingnews.com/

Here is the data summary from the 10866 cases in the database. The cases in the database run from February 10, 2023 through May 23, 2024 .

RELIGIOUS EMPLOYMENT: 845 TRANSGENDER: 5 DRAG QUEEN: 1

I think there's more to it than that though.

@SatanBurger The difference is that the LGBT community is much smaller and yet organizers, advocates, etc keep getting arrested for this stuff. They also say to not tell their parents. They make it seem like nothing nefarious could be going on and it's an unhinged conspiracy to think it's even in the realm of possibility.

@OogieBoogie No, you don't operate on logic. I'm not gonna believe you just cause you say so. I asked a question, you had a mental breakdown, these are the facts. You're not the type to listen to reason, I remember, you're one of those pitbull lunatics, there's easily accessable stats on pitbull attacks that were posted and you still didn't budge an inch.

I wanted to say first that even if the community was smaller, 5 trans cases of child abuse vs 845 religious cases is crazy. The argument that conservatives make is that it's by and large by the LGBT community but religious conservatives actually make up more of the numbers.

But I think the site touches on what you said and that the number of gender non conforming people are actually bigger but still made up a small amount of cases

https://www.whoismakingnews.com/

It is not just full time employees or ordained staff. The Bureau of Labor Statistics says there are only approximately 60,000 paid pastors in the United States. But with unpaid pastors religious organizations say the real number is closer to 600,000. That is just under two tenths of one percent of the American population (.0018 of population, to be precise).

We include in our “religious affiliated” total people who are named in the media reports we catalogue as pastors, youth pastors, priests, brothers, nuns, missionaries, bishops, deacons, church officials, Sunday school teachers, teachers in religious schools, etc. We do not include people who are just listed as members of a church.

For those who want per capita comparisons: The transgender population of the United States has been estimated at anywhere from one half of one percent to two percent of the population, with some estimates as high as five percent of GenZ. Even though that is likely a substantial undercount of the transgender population (because many gender non conforming people live in the woodwork) we use the lower estimate, which would put the transgender population at 1,650,000, more than 2 1/2 times the size of the pastor population.
