In the entire history of our planet, archeologists have only found 2.
Male
Female

Also gender identity is just that identity.
Male has a penis
Female has a vagina.
Irregardless of how you identify

@Shaveit The 7 different genders include agender, cisgender, genderfluid, genderqueer, intersex, gender nonconforming, and transgender. Many people refuse to be classified as male or female, either because they do not identify themselves as male or female or because they are transitioning to the opposite gender.

Anthropologists have long documented cultures around the world that acknowledge more than two genders. There are examples going back 3,000 years to the Iron Age, and even further back to the Copper Age.

Below are 107 gender identities currently listed for 2023. (These are the more commonly known gender identities - as listed on Wikipedia at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_gender_identities - and is subject to change at any time.)Dec 7, 2022

@JSul3 just because some refuse to identify as a male or female doesn't take away the fact that they are one or the other. Its their choice to be identified as something else. But the word gender relates to the sex of a person. Plain and simple

@SW-User Gender identity is each person's internal and individual experience of gender. It is a person's sense of being a woman, a man, both, neither, or anywhere along the gender spectrum. A person's gender identity may be the same as or different from their birth-assigned sex.

@JSul3 i have said multiple times, gender identity is not the same as the word gender which is either male or female. You can identify as a cow, doesn't make it true
Shaveit · 61-69, M
@SW-User no, it is not. You’re just plain stupid identity is a name, gender is a penis or a vagina. or maybe you can understand this.
Identity is who, gender is what

How Many Genders Are There According to Science: Breaking the Myth
June 3, 2022 by Maria Pengue

Some comments from the article:

It’s safe to say that science recognizes three sexes: male, female, and intersex. However, gender is not made up of binary forms. Instead, it’s a wide spectrum.

What Is Gender Identity
Defining gender isn’t as straightforward as you might think. As the World Health Organization claims, the scientific definition of gender refers to the socially created qualities of women and men. This covers the standards, behaviors, interpersonal interactions, and roles that are expected by a woman or a man. Gender is a social construct that differs by civilization and can change over time.

It’s true that the vast majority of people identify as entirely masculine or feminine. But that’s not the same for everyone. For example, some express their gender as more masculine than feminine, while some others identify as more feminine than masculine. Some don’t fit into any male or female standard imposed by society.

Sex vs. Gender
Many people use the terms “sex” and “gender” interchangeably, but keep in mind that the two don’t have the same meaning.

As already stated, gender refers to the socially constructed roles and behaviors that are assigned to people. On the other hand, sex is referred as to the biological characteristics of a person, such as their sex organs, hormones, and chromosomes.

@Shaveit You are confusing sex with gender.

@JSul3 am I? I don't think so
