Leave kids out of pride celebration if this is what they are exposed to

These libs, such as this one in the image, believes kink and kids can co-exist.

Yes, kink and kids can coexist. By the way, kids today are exposed to all kinds of stuff on the internet. If they get their impressions of kink from joyful celebrations like Pride parades, that is way better than from porn.
@SW-User Police inspection on your laptop please.

@SW-User I have to disagree. It sets them up for grooming. The original poster of this TikTok makes an excellent point about kids cannot be expected to give informed consent. Surely we can't let them believe they can take part of BDSM when they must give consent.

This is what pedophiles want.

@BritishFailedAesthetic I said "kink AND kids" not "kink WITH kids." I know people who are deeply involved in kink and they are the sweetest (and nerdiest) people around. No danger to children (or to anyone else) whatsoever.

@IamCuriousBabe Kids can't give informed consent to anything. If they see heterosexual couples kissing, will that mislead them into thinking they can take part in that kind of intimacy?
@SW-User Why the fcuk should kids be exposed to kink?
SW-User
@BritishFailedAesthetic Since kink exists (and is simply enjoyable fun for a lot of people) the question is why kids should be prevented from seeing it. Given a choice I would much rather prevent them from seeing the kind of violence and horror that you get on TV news. But again, kids today mostly have phones that connect them to the internet where they are exposed to everything anyway.

@SW-User I don't see vanilla kissing as an issue here, as it is a natural expression of intimacy. But in light of what mainstream media has covered at the recent pride events, children witness semi-naked practitioners in fetish-themed outfits, complete with flogging. This is where the outrage is coming from. Kids are being targeted by these extremists.

The LGBT+ community as a whole is split precisely because of the issues concerning the grooming of children.

@IamCuriousBabe Just to be clear, I fully agree with you that children should not be drawn into sexual behaviour.

I just don't think there is any special danger of that from LGBT people and/or BDSM practitioners.

I also don't agree that vanilla kissing is "natural" but erotic flogging is not. What we think of as "natural" is almost totally determined by our culture.

I grew up with Archie Comics in which "Little Archie" "Little Betty" and "Little Veronica" have mad romantic crushes on each other, while "Little Jughead" is weird for not being interested in girls. These characters are like 6 years old, Was that grooming children for heterosexual sex? Or can we relax and say it was all in fun -- like a Pride parade?

@SW-User It's good that we are clear on the points you mentioned.

Just to add context, this is what happened in West Hollywood:

@IamCuriousBabe She'll agree with it.

@SW-User Let me add further that 'grooming' is used in the context of pedophilia.
SW-User
@IamCuriousBabe Yes, I know, and again there is zero reason to suspect kinksters of pedophilia.

@SW-User I believe so, as responsible BDSM practitioners are familiar with the core principles. It's not stopping predators from disguising themselves so they can blend in.
