Dare I say it....

In some ways and I have heard this alot.
People won't like me saying it but don't @ me angrily and abusively as this isn't necessarily my belief though their may be some truth in it 🤷

People becoming trans is a "trend" not in all cases no. People genuinely wish to live as the opposite sex. However.... some people choose to live as one sex (experiment I guess) and then go back to being the sex they were assigned to at birth 🤷

Isn't that just confusing, you'd never really be happy!?

No one just gets up and decides they want to experiment being a different gender.
Gender dysphoria is real.
Show me all of these people that have made the change and decided to just switch back. These procedures are done after a deep dive into their phyche.
It isn't a trend.
The one and only reason that transsexual peoples are spotlighted now is to rile a rabid group of uneducated, narrow people.

@Carla in response. I have read stories in which people have regrets of going down the gender reassignment route. It's not unknown. I'm also aware that there's extensive tests etc to check this is how they want to live etc etc. However, there's still the possibility that "for some" it could be a fad. Experimentation. No different than some people exploring their sexual preferences in a sense.

@Lanie78 no...not in a sense. People know from a young age. It isnt something you just choose. Do you understand the turmoil these people endure? Given a choice, no one chooses that.
The fad right now is conservative hate mongers choosing to shine the spotlight
on particular groups for sport.

i think there is just a bunch of very confused people who have been fooled with "identity politics" and trying to be something they are not in order to feel special and fit in.
Another reason this stuff should be kept away from children

Same with left handed people. It’s a trend. Through the 70s, the percentage of lefties was tiny.

All of a sudden, 10% of the population started using their left hand. I was influenced by the trend, and decided that tying my left hand behind my back, was for my own good.

So, I started using my right hand again. You should see my face following a shave, but I don’t want to be confused, so I will stick with it. Man was not meant to be left handed.

I'm not happy and my gender was assigned so a transition isn't even an option since I was born one of the other 5 genders so. . .

*Just to clarify*
Some posts are obviously men posing as women. However one post said something about yogurt dripping on her boob and thought of you. Well that's attention seeking, and then well... you can imagine the responses 🤷
