@ExperienceDLT correct. You’re the only person here who understands basic biology. You win.

@Emosaur so what is gender? It is obviously not about being a man or a woman because those are to do with biology.

@Emosaur there’s so much to I package there.

Firstly, ‘man’ and ‘woman’ are biological terms. Man is adult human male, woman is adult human female.

There is no such thing as ‘sex of the brain’. That’s total nonsense you are just making up.

Also, sociology is not advanced biology. It has nothing to do with biology.

There is male (man) and female (woman) only. There are people who suffer from gender dysphoria which is a psychological disorder. They need medication, not validation of their delusion.
@TheGreatestEver123 what is the winning prize
@TheGreatestEver123 males with tits arent female no matter how badly they want to think or pretend to be you are what you are born as either a male or a female

@ExperienceDLT you pass grade 1 biology and get to move up to grade 2. All the maniacs in here talking about ‘a woman is anyone who identifies as a woman’ have to stay behind a year (again).
@TheGreatestEver123 I mean I have no issue with anyone that is Trans if a gal wants to identify as male go for it and vice versa all im saying is just my own opinion I could dress up in a dog costume and go around humping fire hydrants
It doesnt make me a dog just saying
TheGreatestEver123 · 41-45, M
@ExperienceDLT yes, people can dress and appear in public as they wish. It doesn’t change biological fact.

@Emosaur I know quite a bit about biology. But you keep saying you aren’t talking about biology, you are claiming to be talking about ‘gender as a social construct’. You are engaging in leftist propaganda to muddy the definitions of sex and gender to push your dreadful ideology.
TheGreatestEver123 · 41-45, M
@Emosaur there’s nothing scientific about your claim that sex and gender are completely separate as you are constantly trying to blur the definitions anyway.

@Emosaur it’s really difficult to talk to you because you make no sense at all.

My position is the following:

There are two genders: male and female. Every human being is either one of the other. There is absolutely nothing that can be done to change from one to the other. It is determined even before birth (so cannot be socially constructed) and can continue to be determined long after death.
Adult humans are called ‘men’ (male) or ‘women’ (female).

Gender roles are socially constructed up to a point but often based on behaviour patterns common amongst the genders (boys like blue, girls like pink etc) and there is a lot of evidence to support behavioural differences between men and women. They also differ through history and by different cultures. Gender roles are not absolute and masculinity / femininity are on a spectrum to some degree (although they differ greatly at the extremes), but you still want to claim that people can change gender. Men can become women etc. You really need to explain what you mean by this. If a biological male (man) is feminine, does this make him a woman or not? Or does it just depend how he feels?

Your argument is extremely unscientific. You are also intentionally confusing the biological terms and muddying the waters.

@Emosaur OK, this is the biggest load of nonsense I’ve ever read.

I’m not on the right at all - I’m on the left. I just understand basic biology.

I’m not confusing the terms at all. I have given you my definition of man and woman. I’m very clear on that.

If you believe trans women were always women and never men, then how can they be trans? Trans is from the Latin meaning ‘across’. If they were never men, they can’t be trans can they?

And regardless of whether someone doesn’t fit into a gender role or conform to society’s expectations or stereotypes about what men and women should be, it has nothing to do with ACTUALLY being a man or a woman.

What is a woman? You can’t answer it without using a circular definition.
TheGreatestEver123 · 41-45, M
@Emosaur I love the fact you say you don’t care about my opinion or beliefs because you care only about science. But if a man says he’s a woman you just believe them because they assert it? Nothing scientific about that, it’s just in their head so it has to be true. 😂😂🤣 clown

@Emosaur I’m going to ignore all of your ridiculous BS ranting because you’re just a child who really needs to grow up. You are so arrogant to assume that I’m ignorant of science but the truth is you are not making any consistent logical argument. You are just ranting.

Whether I’m on the right or left politically is irrelevant because this is biological fact and science. Political opinion should have nothing to do with it.

Again you are talking about people transitioning - but before you said that a tran woman was always a woman - so how can they transition.

I said you couldn’t define what a woman is without using a circular definition. That’s exactly what you just did. You said a woman is anyone who identifies as a woman. So, what is it that they are identifying as? What is a woman?

You think I’m ignorant and you don’t even know what a woman is!

@Emosaur what is a woman? You haven’t defined it at all. You have used a circular definition. That’s not intellectually acceptable
