Growing up when I knew I was transgender in a way

Growing up when I knew I was trans in a way started at age 5.Being the oldest of 3 brothers,I discovered that I was transgender after I turned 5,I wanted to play dress up with my cousins Marissa and Liz.Mom said no at first and knew that was a mistake. She realized I was not into boys did being rough and tough.I wanted to come out, decided not to and has been a regret to this day.Luckily my wife lived across the street from us.I would come over to visit and age 11,I would go into her closet picking out a piece of clothing of hers to try on.I loved it and started with a dress of hers. Then it was a few of her tops and skirts. She said I looked better as a girl. That is when I realized I wanted to be one of the girls in a way.Decided to grow my hair out and mom tried to get me to get it cut.I refused and she knew there was something wrong.Age 13,knew it was time to come out finally.Told my mom at first I wanted to be one of the girls in a way. That is when she knew it was a huge mistake saying no to me at age 5.Dad found out and it was very tough on him.It took him a few months to accept his oldest son became a daughter.Seen a therapist and saw I did have signs of gender dysphoria.Only solution was let me live and dress as a girl which happened not looking back

You’re not trans your mom was just afraid you were gay and tried to force you to be straight.

Nothing effeminate about what you’re talking about. You only thought you were trans because the conservative culture told you what you wanted was feminine, when I. Reality, it was not
At the time, you were an egg.
I learned that term today. I'mma use it whenever I can.

I heard you don’t have to be gay to be transgender
