I never really understood

....the whole discriminating someone for who they love/like.

Just very alien to me.

In my introduction, I wrote that I have mother-in-laws. Yes, pleural. The paternal - Sammy Jo - married her partner, hence the lesbian relationship. Also, our eldest daughter is bisexual.

I've never seen it as an issue. Fact is, I get to kiss both mother-in-laws on the cheek as a greeting! That's a win, win if ever I saw one!

Is my life richer for the experience of having LGBTQ+ in my family? No. Life is life. They're in our lives, they're cool people. End of story. I try not to delve to deep. I'm an easy going individual.

And, of course, life is really too short to get annoyed at what someone else does with their life, especially if it doesn't affect them.

Some people are just very silly, I guess.

Have seen & been on the receiving end of discrimination, can't understand it to be honest. Love is love, life is way too short. Smile & be HAPPY.
@cd4259 I've been on the receiving end of discrimination, too.
It sucks.
