How anti-trans activists forced Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre into lockdown

I think what's so disappointing to hear is that we have to force people to be kind to others. In the article, she stated how before people just used to mutter under their breaths about her being trans but now since the media has emboldened bigots, it has moved into death threat territory. That's kind of disappointing that we even have to force people to be accountable in the first place rather than just live and let live.

Really, to be honest, what kind of a person forces a rape crises center to go into lockdown in the first place? You'd have to be a terrible person, there's no way around that. You'd have to be a terrible person to even focus all your time on hating in the first place. I seriously question people who make it their lives to hate just to hate, no matter the rationalizations, that's got to be tiring. It's so tiring even for me to converse with haters, I can't imagine the type of energy you have to spend to focus solely on a life's mission of hate.
