Question here for the LGBTQ community and SW

Would it make sense to anyone esle to create a topic withint this category purely for trans issues/questions/chat?

Everyone's welcome, obviously, but it seems to me that the trans discussion has grown large enough and is important enough to merit its own area. That might allow a bit more room for other LGBTQ topics and chat. Or maybe it wouldn't make a difference at all one way or the other. I'm just curious at what others think.

Well, it sounds plausible, but I think the pervs would just take it over to share pics and do thier sex talking.

@calicuz I don't care what anyone does, but LGBTQ+ is an enormous umbrella. It's like grouping all males together, or saying all Native Americans are the same despite thousands of different tribes.

Fact is, even though I'm an ally, I have no need to be on trans boards much, hook-up boards or any channels specific to a particular group and culture. Mixing oceans is great, but it seems the topic of all things trans is popular enough to occupy its own place.

@calicuz Don't believe I have the authority and power. But I was curious to see if anyone feels slightly (not badly) overwhelmed by the section being comprised of 65-70% trans issues. If not, then there's my answer.
