I Am Reminded....

..of a conversation that I had with a woman that I'd never met before, just a few short weeks back.

As is my little thing sometimes, sometimes I'll reveal that I'm trans in a conversation. This is what I did in this particular innocent conversation....and I got the answer back ;

"Oh, how exciting! Do you find it exciting getting dressed?"

I'm not sure exactly what she meant by this but I took it as having some kind of sexual undertones.

I can't quite remember what I said - my mouth is on ad-lib autopilot sometimes - but to paraphrase, it went something like this..

"...Only like, if you can remember going from wearing a school uniform to getting to wear real clothes, sweetie. Does it turn me on? Only like it would for any other woman when you get to buy a lovely dress or skirt. After 7 years, hun, it's just a thing that I do. Like having breakfast, making a cup of tea. Does it excite you getting dressed in the morning? Well, then....there's your answer."

She blushed and changed the subject.

I hate it how trans people, of both sexes, have this whole sexual gratification tag placed on them. On me. It's lazy thinking. It's incorrect. It's boring! Sure, sex is a big part of life - for some more than others - but to think that people are excited all the time is just...silly!
