For me,it's a pretty "normal" life. I'm married...14 yrs with a marriage license...28 yrs committed. I have achieved things I was once told I wouldn't while "being gay". Like anyone would really choose a life of discrimination and ridicule for that absolute fun of it. And,I've definitely experienced the discrimination and prejudices of others, but haters are going to hate and I don't let that hate define my direction. Overall,I'm happy. I have a good family,am usually happily married, have the best fur-babies,2 decent cars,a home,an education, a career, and a retirement plan. Being true to who I am and accepting every part of myself hasn't always been easy, but I feel I have always been worth it.
