Why do some people feel the need to tell members of the LGBTQ community that their identities are invalid?

Especially straight and cisgender people, like just because you don't have those feelings doesn't mean that no one else can. Also gatekeepers who tell people whether or not they're are LGBTQ

Who cares what someone else thinks is valid or invalid. Whatever you feel is what you feel. You don't need anyone elses approval for what you feel or think. I am the way I am, that is right for me, I don't feel a need to try to get anyone else to accept what I feel and think.
