Are the police force homophobic ?

It seems by what I have read and seen in youtube that homophobic attacks go unreported, maybe because the police are not entirely supportive. Statistically then homophobia is much higher than actually recorded because like I said, a lot of it goes unreported because it seems that the ones committing the crimes mostly get away with it with lack of proof or evidence. The system sadly lets the community down because even though the law has changed so drastically the part 50 years, many negative attitudes seemingly remain against the gay community, this is a sad fact.

Unreported or unacted on, theres a difference and then difference again to successful prosecution. Be clear on the detail before positing a claim.

Please read this article : ''As a gay officer I saw how homophobic police are'', this is quite an eye opener so please be aware and on your guard. The police are not always on your side when you see them at pride. In private they are quite bigoted indeed. This is a fact !

[@1003495,Andy69] why is it anyone’s business how someone thinks in private

[@562356,sanitatem] Good question, but it shows how fake people are when on the outside they are nice as pie but in reality they are hateful, it can make a difference to how people are totally treated, not all equally, you can see the tell tale signs. The discrimination and the poor excuses that are feebly made to cover up their real motives, yes, it's nobody's business really what people think in private but from what I see the LGBT community are tolerated and not fully accepted, this has been said more than once, the law has changed, not personal attitudes, it's just people are not really allowed to say homophobic language in public but it's positively rife on line, cowards who hide behind fake pictures and user names as the hurl abusive comments on pride youtube video and the many thumbs down.

[@1003495,Andy69] if people saying mean things on YouTube and thumbing down videos is that big of an issue in your life you should be grateful you have it so easy
Underreporting a crime is who's fault ??????

[@812868,kingfish27] Then you seriously need to read the article by Kevin Maxwell ''As a gay officer I saw how homophobic police are''. A wake up call to say the least.
