Do you think it’s okay for children to be exposed to things like this at pride parades?

No. Children should not be exposed to anything sexual-period. It will make them curious for sex at a much too young age- making them more vulnerable to pedophiles. That is why all intimacy beyond a kiss on the cheek or peck on the lips/holding hands/hugs needs to be kept intimate.
I worked with several gay people, they were not "in the closet" but felt no need to make their intimacy public by doing intimate things in public. Nobody has any need of dressing like that in public unless they want problems. I feel no sympathy for people who go looking for trouble and find it. It is not about them being gay, its about excessive public sexuality which is applicable to any and all genders. They have no consideration for anyone else.
How do they then answer the child's questions? Do they lie or do they provide sex education on the spot to minors without the parent's consent?

Patently untrue and demonstrated to be false.

Guess bikinis are out.

Stop worrying about kids. They will find all the vices they want just by being alive. If you don't like two people making out, don't look. And for God's sake, learn how to be open and honest with the kids in your life.
@Graylight I do not know any parents in this province who would go for such public displays that include S&M or bondage gear (around their children).
The pride parades here in Ontario show some courtesy and common sense- and they get no trouble from the public here over it. They wear bathing suits, shorts and tea-shirts carrying rainbow banners, signs and flags and much of the community comes out in support of them. They get no public hate here, just old-world people with sticks up their butts and ex-convicts do any gay-bashing around here. Because they behave respectfully they get treated as respectable people.
But I am talking about Canada, not the U.S.
I doubt it could be like that in the U.S.

@Anonymartyr Fashion and dancing do not S&M parties make.

But if you fear for the tender virtue of kids swimming in the shark-infested moral waters of high school, then don't bring your children to grown-up events.

@Anonymartyr Funny...for someone complaining about others pushing their lifestyle on you and the world at large, you have an awful lot of rules universal absolutes and agenda demands.
