Chances are this child has been brought up on a LGBTQ+ family and has been around people like this before. Yes some go to extremes at parades of this nature and even I do not like that but it is what it is. It's a day of pride amid an existence of not being accepted or being a victim of discrimination due to societal expectation and preferred sexual and gender norms vs sexual and gender life choices.
Chances are, in her adult life she will not remember this.
