Do you think that the T in LGBTQ+ should be separated from the group?

Allow me to explain my reasoning.

"LGB" deal with sexual/romantic attraction. And "Q" i simply questioning these things.

However, "T" deals with gender/sexual identity. This is extremely different from the others and more complicated to understand.

Plus, a transgender individual could still be heterosexual, which kills the LGB concepts.

All i'm saying is that these groups should be separated so that the progress of each concept doesn't hinder the other and proper support can be given to each.

Well, since you asked, I think the whole thing is totally counter-productive. It's purposeful self-segregation while inclusion is the supposed goal. Now there's the I and A added. It's getting ridiculous and only makes the road to acceptance more difficult. I don't think most people give two shits what others do. Of course there's ALWAYS going to be homophobes and those acting from a place of fear and insecurity. That's a given. But by playing the "Us vs. Them" card they're creating a "them" that doesn't need to exist.

@Ynotisay you don't believe anyone gives a shit what they do but we have a government trying to keep them from buying cakes, using the bathroom, serving in the military and adopting children...

@JaggedLittlePill That's political. Not societal. The more inclusiveness in society the fewer barriers will be allowed to exist until it becomes a non-issue. IMO, that has to come from a "big tent" mentality. Not purposeful separation.
