Is this something that is necessary?

If I were to call it objectively, I'd say that for real equality it should be fine.
If I were to consider reality, i'd say it's stupid..

Problem is, even if some people are turning up/organising for a joke (I suspect it's just a big troll) it'll attract or embolden the anti-gay folk, and the media will probably make it more sensational which might cause a knock on effect.

@Ryannnnnn I can't wait for Westboro Baptist to endorse all the "straight pride" parades. Then I'll get to say things like "all straight people endorse Westboro Baptist Church" and point to their parades as proof.
