I think j is being ironic. Realizing you are asexual and perhaps have never felt sexual is different than being in a LTR and having the sexual part of your relationship slowly die because one partner no longer desires sex. A sexless marriage is surprisingly more common than you would think among couples married for years and years. It does not mean that one or both people have become "asexual."
