dating sites are such bullshit; people whine about criticism/judgment, etc. demanding acceptance, then go make up a fake/phony dating site profile to "fit" in to the same groups they complain about.
it's a bit hilarious really, people accusing others of bigotry, sexism, etc. while simultaneously lying to themselves and others.
The cold hard truth is, if you're not comfortable with your lifestyle, sexuality, etc. DESPITE criticism and scrutiny, you're the one with the problem, not those you accuse...

@wildbill83 whoa I would counter all of that but you know what? Fuck it. I don't have the time, but I'll give you a piece of of mind anyways.
I agree dating sites are bullshit in general and they don't work the best. But I don't agree with all the other stuff you said and here's why:
1) I don't even know what your first point is about. Some people do make a fake profile, they shouldn't and it's not normal or real people's problem. I get that you might not have had a great experience on dating sites since they usually work on physical attractiveness but they're pretty fun for me, so there's that. You get to meet and talk to interesting people from all around the world, it's nice!
2) what? Who's lying? What?
3) believe me, LGBTQ+ people are plenty comfy with their lifestyle if they join a dating app/site made just for them. You don't get it? It's fine, you're not the one one who has been persecuted throughout history and still get persecuted in a huge portion of the world based on who you love or your identity; you don't get it, it's fine. People whose countries don't accept them (including mine) join those sites as a safe space to talk about our problems with people like us, who'll understand us and maybe even date us, even if it's ldr because of people like you irl who don't accept us or veil their homophobia and sexism as being "real"
