Mostly a question for Transgenders
Everyone can answer but keep it respectful , Do you find full transitions to be based on Social Contagion or is it mostly Gender Dysphoria .

I wager most would transition because of dysphoria. It's very expensive and hard on the body. I don't see why anyone would unless it was they felt it was the absolute best way forward. Or were otherwise convinced into thinking so.
I've talked with a number of trans people online, and I've seen a variety of reasons why someone might desire to transition, but to actually take the plunge requires some degree of desperation I feel. Although I did talk with one person who was very nonchalant about the whole thing.
